The only single guy in a group of married men does not ask about married life. He will more likely brag about his freedoms, and the marrieds will one-up each other on the most ridiculous things they've been made to do by their spouses. Men will brag and compete when in a group.
Married men will not brag to each other about the most romantic thing they've ever done for their spouse. They will only do so if the wives (or any other women) are present.
And the single guy walks away thanking his singleness.
