Consider my understanding of your process now unknotted. You're good :)

I'd read that Tony Robbins worked with Andre Agassi (tennis player) to get him out of his funk. Agassi was questioning what was wrong with a particular stroke. Robbins told Agassi that his fundamentals and technicals were sound. But he had a mental barrier on finishing points and games. It wasn't his lack of skill as Agassi thought. It was lack of focus during the point. Lack of planning. Lack of strategy, and so on.

After that, Agassi reclaimed his form and went on a winning streak. Agassi simply had to be reminded that he was good enough and to trust his game.
